Roman Catholic remain undefeated in Catholic League

Roman Catholic continues to roll over their opponents in the Philadelphia Catholic League.  The Cahillites most recently beat St. Joseph’s Prep 58-44 to remain undefeated in the league.

After a tight first quarter, the Cahillites broke out in the second behind four three-pointers from junior Gemil Holbrook, who finished with 14 points.  Manny Taylor added 12 points of his own, six of them coming in the third quarter.

This victory keeps Roman Catholic ranked 1st in Pennsylvania and 17th in the DigitalSports National Basketball Rankings.

After posting victories against league rivals Neumann-Goretti, ranked 19th nationally, and Archbishop Carroll, ranked 21st, a win over Cardinal O’Hara, 13th in the PCL, sends Roman to the playoffs with the top seed.
